1. Yes we need this!!

We need to not only support his rule, but we also need to change the voting process in committes.

Here is what I mean. First, the chairman calls for a vote, then only polls the democrats first. Once enough votes occur that designate a majority, the voting stops and the vote is counted as such.

So if there are 5 democrats and 4 'thugs, then the chairman would poll the 5 democrats first. If they all vote on one side, then the voting stops and the motion passes as a 5-0 UNANIMOUS vote.

This would be key to demoralizing the rethugs, because it allows the media to report that a unanimous vote has occured, and the rethugs would have some 'splainin' to do to their neanderthal red state bastard rethug constituents, which would in turn make it more likely that they will lose their next election.

consider if the republicans implemented this exact rule in the house. If Reid would simply ENFORCE the existing rules, we could get some shit done. No need for bullshit like that

Contact Feinstein and Kerry and push them to vote yes on the filibuster reform. Those are the two we need.
