Daughter of GOP big wig in big, big trouble

Last edited Fri Feb 15, 2013, 07:16 AM - Edit history (1)

Gabrielle Nestande of California's Nestande Family will be back in an Austin, Texas, courtroom today, attempting to fight numerous charges stemming from the death of a 30-year-old nanny, Courtney Griffin, who was killed by a hit-and-run driver in 2011. The 24-year-old Nestande is a former member of Gov. Rick Perry's campaign and aide to Rep. Wayne Christian, the anti-birth control activist from East Texas. The way her trial is going, her next position will be the most entitled Little Missy in the Texas prison system. Despite meddling by the good ol' Christian boys and local Fox News reporter Jenni Lee, prosecutor and giant killer Allison Wetzel has begun to unmask Nestande as a drunken sociopath.

Part of me wants her in jug for vehicular homicide/manslaughter and part of me wants her to continue her losing streak in politics. With staff members like her, they don't need sabotage.

I feel horribly for the victims family. The woman that died was young and still had so much of her life ahead of her.

When I was married to my ex-wife, her brother (who was a chronic alcoholic and had DUIs in two states) was driving one night with is girlfriend going 70+ mph on a curvy road and wrapped his car around a telephone pole and killed her. I happened to be home when he called his sister from jail. He was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 15 years in prison. It is an absolutely senseless thing to do. Personally I never met him so I knew very little other than what I heard through her family.
