Which event picked its date first? Valid question. Like it or not, we know Hillary can influence the date of the Arkansas JJ dinner.

Last year was an election year, so the JJ event was before the primaries. This year people are focused on next year's elections, so it was moved to a date when the presidential candidates are known, and no doubt they expected Hillary to be a candidate and plabbed to invite her.
