This seems so desperate, but I guess he kind of has to at this point, being so far in the polls. If he doesn't consistently poll at least 25% in the next few polls he's going to have to make a big move and either replace his campaign manager or hire a 2nd one as well. Although he still has time left to make it happen.

I got yelled at earlier for bringing that up.

Apparently Ted wasn't campaigning at the time so obviously Bernie is selling women and minorities down the river for votes or something.

Oh and one guy said it was 60 years ago.

Yes he did.

Math and history are HARD.

Jesus, they responded on a computer connected to the internet did they not? The university was established in '71 - that takes Bobby and John out of the picture and completely obliterates the 60 year claim.

Pro tip to that person - you can open multiple tabs and search other sites for information and still go back to your DU reply page without issue.

Cheers!

They tend to knee jerk and end up doing a massive face plant.

And after it's over they try to save face by blaming you for it.

It's actually pretty Hillarious.

I've purposely refrained from responding to those that exhibit that trait. I salute those of us that do, you included.

Bernie does it.

I don't see anything wrong with it, I find it commendable actually. In order to do so, you have to be rational.
If he were neglecting other venues and only making the occasional appearance than this would bother me. As it stands, he is constantly out there speaking. Why not take a chance on some of these students? They certainly don't get exposed to leftist ideas very often. Bernie has the opportunity to change a few hearts and minds and there is never anything wrong with that. If he is unsuccessful and gets boo'd off the stage then I am wrong. I'd love to be proven wrong here...... not worried.
