Although I'm supporting Bernie, I am increasingly impressed with Martin

His proposals on voting rights, criminal justice and the economy are far reaching and detailed. I do believe he's honest about them. Every politician has things in their past that aren't great but I don't buy that he's some sort of stealth 3rd way candidate for a minute.

I think Martin is a serious and good candidate who deserves much more attention from.the MSM and here at DU as well.

What tip to his supporters here who have done a great job keeping us informed.

from this O'Malley guy. I'm not to the point in a campain where I start seeking a lot out yet. While i doubt Hillary could say much to sway me, someone else might.

That said, he's a machine politician from a Democratic machine political family.

Has he addressed his change of heart on policing?

I don't see anyone except for Hillary winning this time around. Bernie seems to have captured the liberal base this time around, I don't see many Bernie supporters switching to O'Malley. Some Hillary supporters might if he can convince them that he's electable, but that might be tough.

But he's still young, and could be a great candidate for the future. His platform is pretty similar to Bernie's and to the left of Hillary. Hopefully he'll have some significant role in a Clinton administration.

But I agree with you, (most) O'Malley supporters here have provided a lot of good info and insight regarding his politics.

Gov. O'Malley was here a couple of months ago.. my second chance to meet him.. and I live in Iowa, and am very concerned about the environment.. (every thing else goes up in smoke if we do not protect our water and soil and air we breathe).. so as you can imagine, I am pretty stoked up on local environmental issues.. and I was blown away by the depth of his knowledge base on our wind energy production and needs just as an example..he really knows what he is talking about.. and it is not just the same speech given everywhere else..
