(5,066 posts)but why would fox manuiple poll to show hillary losing support and bernie gaining support.this is national poll and bernie has hit 30%
also trump is in lead for republicans.Fox doesn't want that.hell carson and cruz are ahead of bush.
the 2016 gop plan is to run against Hillary.Bernie forces that playbook out the door.just like Obama did.

(2,707 posts)because they know the Clintons already beat them twice (and 3 times if you count the fact Gore was the real winner in 2000).
DCBob
(24,689 posts)Might was well add those to Hillary's column. I doubt he is going to run.
Motown_Johnny
(22,308 posts)No reason to assume Hillary gets those.

(24,689 posts)But this is Faux.. so who knows.

(8,760 posts)biden went down.....AND hillary went down......nope, your theory doesn't hold water
DCBob
(24,689 posts)But Faux always seems to buck the trend.

(22,308 posts)These early polls mean very little.
Do we really need to link to "them" just because they came up with one we like?
I will admit that seeing her below 50% is something that I like. Even so, I can wait for some other polls to show the same thing before getting excited about it.

(13,190 posts)We haven't even had debates yet.Plus once that superpacs money starts running negative ads against Trump and Bernie it's a whole new ball game.People get very upset with negative ads but they work.

(13,877 posts)Bernie is not mentioned. Yesterday a majority of Greatest Threads were about Bernie. Few today. Not much has been written.
It's Trump 80% and Clinton 20%, more or less.
His name was in the title of the article about Clinton's announcement and one sentence in the article. Then I found this article.

(13,877 posts)He's bringing in huge crowds. Barely a mention. O'Malley I understand...he's still just a footnote.

(5,066 posts)Bernie at 30% in national poll is great.
when you are running a grassroots campagin against establishment it takes time for numbers to move.

HerbChestnut
(3,649 posts)with the sample size. Smaller sample size usually = larger margin of error. But that's ok because percentage differences mean less and less with fewer samples (i.e. 3% of 100 is 3 but 7% of 10 is 0.7).

(36,063 posts)As you say, because the margins of error are inversely related to sample size and minorities make up a smaller part of the surveys, minorities have bigger margins of error.

Fox News' polling organization is reliable. This is good news for Bernie supporters... Clinton finally below 50% and Bernie at 30% nationally!

(13,190 posts)Nothing to get excited about. In fact my question would be is he peaking to soon.
ram2008
(1,238 posts)He knows nothing more than the average person posting on DU.

(13,190 posts)When he's a guess On Mark Thompson's show between 6:00PM and 6:50PM.hes.very knowledgable in politics and polling. In fact Mark Thompson thinks he's as good as Nate Silver he in fact said three months ago that Sanders had a good chance on winning NH and.Iowa and after that it's super Tuesday with Hillary taking most if not all of the state's because of the African American vote and when all said and done after the primary he would end up with 30 to maybe even close to 40% of the total primary vote

(1,238 posts)There are plenty of them, and they all don't know what they are talking about and are "guesstimating" based not their own opinions.
bigdarryl
(13,190 posts)Progressive site online even more so than DU.He never is on the cable news channels and only does interviews on Mark. Thompson show

(1,238 posts)And a Hillary shill. Kudos for him starting the DailyKos though. However, that doesn't mean he has more credibility when discussing numbers in Presidential politics.

(5,066 posts)I can see you will dismiss anything in postive direction for Bernie.
DCBob
(24,689 posts)I was thinking more like 25%.. as an average across all polls.
jfern
(5,204 posts)His attack was full of shit.

(13,340 posts)But that's a huge change for about 10 days of poll. But if it does hold up, it could be a whole new ballgame.
HereSince1628
(36,063 posts)National exposure on falling numbers is probably not what Clinton campaign wants regardless of what month it is.
ericson00
(2,707 posts)Their polling is a scam.
