Warren as VP Seals Deal for Me: Biden, Bernie, Hillary - who will it be?

Moi has been an Elizabeth Warren supporter since forever. Having a bad taste in my mouth with all the attempts at force feeding (a true sign of weakness), I'm overjoyed about Bernie Sanders and the hope/ talk about who would be his VP. In what might be a wise move, Vice President Joe Biden made a quick hop over to have a private chat with Senator Elizabeth Warren. This caused a lot of stir, including a late Sunday 'National Review' OpEd that states a Biden/ Warren ticket as a strategy due to the age of the two.

"Democrats -- Plan B: Biden -- One-Term President, with Warren -- VP"

Many of us feel strongly that an Elizabeth Warren for POTUS has a great chance with U.S. (voters); but we also know it has a poor chance with the powers in the party (so hell bent on the one - they can't see clearly what we all are crying for).

So the next logical thingy, is how to get Warren's popularity into the mix. Everyone wants to know who she is going to endorse and this new wrinkle even stews the pot more. It is a plausible strategy, as is noted by the OpEd - that;

A one-term pledge by Biden would also interest Elizabeth Warren. She is 66 years old, and if a Democrat wins in 2016, she will be 74 herself by the time someone else has served two terms in office — and facing her own age issues. But if Biden won, after pledging to serve only one term, Warren would be the front-runner for the Democratic nomination in 2020. If Biden made her his vice-presidential choice, as Yale’s Professor Kahn and others have suggested, she might be a virtual lock for the Democratic nomination.

Meanwhile, Jeb'ee is doing so poorly in mustering a faithful following - that there's talk (again) about Mitt getting into the mix. That's a proposition yours truly would love to see, for more reasons than one.

Just sayin......

Holy christ on a cracker. It'd be nice to be MA residence for a few years with some of our senators serving full terms. After losing kennedy and then having kerry go off, having to deal with Brown and all the shenanigans there, it'd be nice to get back to some stability.

Perhaps other states can start nurturing some good candidates and leave MA alone for awhile? We're already tired of being a liberal punching bag for the conservatives.

Fishing around trying to get Warren onto the ticket to give him the air ...

His heart just is not on running a serious, full out presidential campaign.

That is why it is August and he is dicking around like this.

If he was serious he would have been laying the groundwork for a run a LONG time ago and would have been in much earlier this year.

And, until such time as he is ready to mount a POTUS run on her own, when that is in her heart, EW needs to be where she is in the senate, where we have like a handful of serious progressives trying to get some good shit done.

The VP position is little more than a glorified ambassadorial position, no real power and little public face time. Give me Bernie as POTUS and Warren as Senate Majority Leader and THAT'S a team that could really make some progress.

They are all older and they need a VP who is younger. Also Massachusetts is in the bag for the Dems no matter who is nominated. Let's face it if Bernie is nominated he has the progresive/liberal vote in the bag. What he needs to do is select a running mate who appeals more to African Americans and latinos--as well as working class democrats. If Hillary is the nominee I don't see her having another woman on the ticket. Biden is the one it might make the most sense in having Warren, but again he is 73 and she will be 67--and I think he would need a younger running mate.
