Jury hide notification missing?

I just had a hide that I'd like to challenge but never received a notification, just saw the post removed.

immediately. Maybe it was an error.

6. Well, there's good news and bad news

I found the post that was removed, but it was not recorded as being removed. So while it got taken down, you did not get a "strike" on your account, as it were. You are showing as having zero hides, with your last hidden post being sometime back in 2023. So you were not penalized for the hide.

The error which caused this to happen (likely related to last night's update) means that the appeal mechanism is also not available on that post. So on the one hand you had a removal that can't be appealed, but on the other hand you weren't actually penalized for the removal beyond the post being removed.

We'll check into this so that we can try to make sure it doesn't happen going forward, but since it would take a fair bit of time and effort to work backwards and try to unwind it, perhaps we could just let this one go as "no harm, no foul"...?
