lead. I don't have the results from every county, but from Clark and Washoe it looks like he has about 55.5% of the delegates now to Hillary's 45.5%.

It's really hard to determine how the district level delegates are divided. There are 4 districts. District 1 will get 5 national delegates. District 2, 3, and 4 will get 6 delegates each. That gives us the 23 district delegates. I don't know how the 4 districts are chosen. But all the delegates for each district will divide up at the state convention and vote on their national delegate representatives.

All districts then reconvene to vote together on the 5 Pledged Party Leader and Elected Official (PLEO) delegates and the 7 at-large delegates.

Without yet understanding how the district level results are divided, based on percentage of delegates known at this point Bernie could end up with 19 delegates to Hillary's 16. That's in comparison what has been reported as expected being 15 for Bernie and 20 for Hillary. That's +4 for Bernie and -4 for Hillary, giving Bernie a potential net gain of up to 8 delegates.

The links in the story were also helpful. Require Participatory democracy in Nevada reminds me of ancient Greece in a way.

It requires citizens to get involved with the process rather than vote and go. Which may help on the local level in forming unions and taking over school boards.

On the other hand its time consuming and leaves those out who can't show because of family or life commitments.

The system has both its plus and minus.

Anyway Go Bernie and thanks Nevada!

Before the election took place there in late February, it just seemed to me that the atmosphere was ripe for a big Bernie win.

I don't know what happened in Las Vegas.
But, as they say, "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."
