"Can you volunteer for Bernie?"

It's happening... westward bound!!!

Got this email a couple hours ago:

Dear ____ -

You told us you wanted to volunteer for Bernie’s campaign. Are you ready to get started? We’re growing a volunteer-led organization where everyone can make their own unique contribution. Click here to answer a quick survey about yourself and tell us what you'd like to work on.

Right now, we have a special request — and this is what’s going to allow us to unleash unlimited volunteer energy. We need about 50 supporters who are ready to work some serious hours for the campaign at home and online, assisting, mentoring and coordinating volunteers around the country.

For this special role, we are looking for young-at-heart and wise-in-spirit organizers with diverse skills and experiences. This role will require somewhere around 5 to 10 hours per week from now until the July 29th organizing meetings. I know that’s a huge commitment that most people won’t be able to consider and that is OK. To apply, just fill out the survey and select “volunteer coordination” as one of your interests.

This is going to be amazing. A totally new way to run a presidential campaign. Please tell us how you want to be a part of it:

Thanks for all you do,

Jeff Weaver

That is music to my ears.
That is what I want to hear!

I have only been getting enough information to intrigue me right now. Something is afoot me thinks.

campaign'. Starting with NO BRIBES from Corporations using Citizens United to grab as much corporate cash as possible. THAT makes it unique all by itself.

I can't make that commitment at the moment, but I would love to keep abreast of what is happening. Glad to see they are finally mobilizing the volunteers.

Is this the event that's going to be in Arizona? A lot of us haven't been contacted yet. I know they've been absolutely overwhelmed with volunteers so I'm thinking maybe they just have time to organize local volunteers for appearance sites at the moment. I was just curious.
