Fans of 'Brunch with Bernie': Thom Hartmann's weekday radio/tv program will be off air 6-7 days

starting today while he and staff move to another DC location hopefully with better telephone and internet connection. In their absence Free Speech TV will run documentary programs. Just saw Thom's update on this news.

They're playing reruns on the radio show, so you don't have to go cold turkey. hedda_foil Aug 2015 #12

I hope that it is better. I know that I will miss Thom on my lunch hour, even if he is running reruns.
Oh well.

another progressive (the last?) broadcaster! Although I just remembered Thom's said for several years that they will return to VT in 2016. Vermont would be better for them, DC is a cold place for older people to live, although great to visit. He and Louise & Bernie started the radio program out of their Vermont home 10+ years ago. I'm already going through Ed Schultz withdrawal, can't take anymore. MSNBC esp. Joe Scar is so Trump-

Listened to Bernie take calls from Thom's audience once a week for years. Was hoping he'd run for president.

Thom has talked about the move. Some of us hear him via podcast, and I'm hoping one of his stand-ins will keep the radio show going.

We initially found Thom by accident when we cut our cable and picked up 'The Big Picture' TV show somehow, which is not good even though he's a Godsend. Today in his update Thom said the Free Speech Channel will fill in with documentaries unlike other times when radio talkers have subbed for him. Don't know about the pod-casts for this week.

Thank you.
