With turnout projections mounting, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders campaign has shifted the location of Sundays rally in Charleston, South Carolina, to the Charleston Convention Center. The two-day swing includes stops in Greenville, Columbia, and Sumter.
Here is the updated itinerary:
FRIDAY, AUGUST 21
11 A.M.
Greenville Rally, TD Convention Center, 1 Exposition Drive, Greenville

Doors open at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. Admission is first come, first served. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is strongly encouraged.
7 P.M.
Columbia Town Meeting, The Medallion Center, 7309 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia

(45,251 posts)Carolina. He and O'Malley both got standing ovations there. Hillary appeared by video and via surrogate McAuliffe. While the article describes the reception for McAuliffe as tepid, Hillary polled far, far ahead of Sanders in South Carolina in an August 3 poll, which seems to be the latest. (Of course, we know that Sanders is not the candidate who is spending on Polls.)

Let's hope Sanders and South Carolina for Sanders can begin to close the gap, although I am not optimistic about a win. Here's hoping for a great rally though.
The South Carolina primary is February 20 (unrelated fact: the Nevada caucus begins that day).

He spoke at the College of Charleston's Wachovia Auditorium hosted by the Gender and Sexuality Equity Center and #FightForCofC; and campaigned for 7th CD congressional candidate Gloria Bromell Tinubu at a rally at the meeting hall of International Longshoremen's Association Local 1422; and at a fundraising reception at the home of chef and author Nathalie Dupree.
2013
Sen. Bernie Sanders visited SC on October 18-19, 2013. On the evening of October 18 he spoke at a "Fight for Economic Justice" town hall meeting sponsored by South Forward at the Eau Claire Print Building in Columbia. On October 19 he spoke at the S.C. Progressive Network fall retreat at Penn Center on St. Helena Island.
