1. And, they looked only at the dissertation of Ackman's wife.

She was a researcher at MIT before marrying him and likely published multiple articles. Might there be instances of plagiarism and/or errors in those articles, too? Ackman and his anonymous helpers scrutinized ALL of Dr. Gay’s work.

2. They said that his wife made more serious mistakes than Dr. Gay did, she was obviously held to a higher standard.

3. Yes, there were several paragraphs vs a sentence here and there.

But the articles about Dr. Gay said 40-50 instances were found. Surely a Repub will say something like 1 incident (“an honest mistake”) vs 40-50 (“a pattern of plagiarizing”) and these don’t compare. My point was that they looked only at Ackman’s wife’s diss and there could well have been 40-50 instances across her other work AND they could have been more serious, which would more clearly show him to be the hypocrite he is.

6. I certainly agree with you, that they were looking for any excuse.

And considering what also happened to Nikole Hannah-Jones, there's clearly a pattern.

And I still think he deserves an award from those two weeks he reported from the Ukraine border at the start of that war.
