...of the Reporter, but I haven't visited their site in a long time. I do remember that one of their writers covers EWTN as part of their regular beat. I have also heard good things about America and Commonweal.

You may already be aware that there is an NCR impostor: the National Catholic Register. The paper is owned by EWTN and as would be expected, it is in lockstep with their views.
