(764 posts)44. I think it's time to give Joe a little nudge...
... he can't fire DeJoy directly, for God only knows what reason, but he can sure lean on the governors he appointed. DeJoy is a snake, and he's actually putting the lives of Americans at risk. He just doesn't care. He's a fucking Republican, so Der Party comes before country every time.
It's long past time to kick some serious ass, Joe. Git 'er done.
Bipartisanship only works when BOTH sides honor it. These lowlifes do not, and never will, so taking the "high road" is a dead end that leads nowhere.
There have been a few decisions of late that have seriously angered certain demographics, justifiably or not, but let there be no doubt that you need them on your side. Don't lose them over this; get rid of that sonofabitch.

Biden has appointed Democrats to the Board. They haven't done a thing about DeJoy.

They don't need all the flat-sorters they have and they are consolidating facilities.

Existence of the postal svc is in the Constitution. It must remain federally managed & cannot be privatized.

Destruction and profit; profit and destruction. Never a thought for public service.

Yes, but knowing Biden he probably has done little to try and influence those Board of Governors.

Because Democrats have been urging Pres Biden since 2021 to remove him and he hasn't.

He does not want to improve the Postal Service, he wants to break it. The GOP wants to privatize it.
