I remember the same thing. The war didn't end until 1974 and all the demonstrations got us was Nixon.

The Middle East has been in crisis for 3 thousand years and will be for another thousand years. All we're going to get with the present demonstrations is Trump.

In the end, Palestine won't be free, and neither will we.

On Edit: I did not change the original reply, but I thought it's a little too pessimistic. I thought I'd add this observation. Trump cannot beat Biden with just his cult following. Young people, minorities and progressives hold the election in their hands. If they erode Biden's base by not voting, or, God forbid, think it's ok to vote for Trump, Americans won't be demonstrating for freedom for other countries. People will be demonstrating in other countries for our freedom.
