(1,196 posts)The one thing I will not stop buying is Starbucks. Not for me. I hate coffee and tea. My hubby likes coffee. He has stage four cancer.
When we first started going to therapy, I had a small credit on my Starbucks account, just from a promo for signing up. There is a Starbucks in the lobby of the cancer hospital. He wistfully said he would like some but it is too expensive. He has stage four cancer. Whatever I can do to let him enjoy life, my goddess, I will do. Told him I had credit on the app. He went for bloodwork and I got him coffee. Been doing it every three weeks since. I add to the credit in my account and get it for him. I am not splurging on anything else, but if it brings him even a modicum of happiness as he sits in his chair and receives treatment, I am going to do it.
All the other brands be damned. I will not stop buying Starbucks, until hubby does not need/want it any more.
