I think Americans didn't just WANT to see the eclipse, we NEEDED to see it. It was the first time in months, maybe years, that we ALL had something positive to experience. Something that had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with any other topic that we've heard about ad nauseum.

It sounds like a party! On my street, I didn't see a soul - and I do have neighbors here, LOL.
