and I had dinner at a restaurant in Pgh (Ali Baba’s) and Dr. Wecht was at the table next to ours. We acknowledged one another. After dinner we went to see Gordon Lightfoot in concert at Carnegie Music Hall and Dr. Wecht was sitting in the seat in front of us. We had a quick conversation. He was always smiling and I’ll never forget his eyes. Kind and expressive.

Rest in peace Dr. Wecht.
