This is the "I Have a Dream" speech of my lifetime. I'm 45, so Dr. King had already been killed (in my state) by time I was born. JFK and RFK were also gone.
While I appreciate Jimmy Carter's down-to-Earth and serene nature, Bill Clinton's ability to connect with the people and Barack Obama's beautifully-worded and perfectly-cadenced speeches, none of them have just come right out and smacked so many people right across the face with the true message of morality in stark terms like this did.
BOOM.
