Something I've noticed with the right & Schavio |
|
I know I know. We're all tired of this, but something I've noticed with the right and Schavio is they NEVER talk about how she got in this condition do they? I haven't really heard anybody I've talked to mention how she got in the condition she is now. Just how "horrible" the husband in and she's being "murdered" and all that. Has anybody here? I can't stand watching MSM so yeah. I don't know if they've talked about this. When right-wingers call in talk shows I listen to (mainly Jerry and Bernie Ward) I have yet to hear one of them talk about how she got in this situation (her eating disorder of course).

and it is some sick bullshit. Their disconnect from reality and science once again has them beleiving the preposterous. They have convinced each other, despite overwhelming evidence as always, that Michael Schiavo beat her so badly that she ended-up in this state. :puke:

And how could they? They weren't there. All they and their right-wing followers have is presupposition and the make believe- which they rely so heavily upon.

4. Well if there is one positive thing about this whole debacle. |
|
Maybe it will make some people realize the serious nature of an eating disorder like that...

5. That is what has been on local news here |
|
A short briefing on the case, and long stories on advanced directives, living wills, and eating disorders.
I remember when I had surgery last year. I'm 46, and my parents were with me. My Mom thought I was making to much out of getting the advanced directive filled out , and notorized.

Gotta be for an actually useful newscast. I rarely pay attention to local newscasts because of the high fluff content maybe I should pay attention and see how my local channels are handling it.
I wonder how your mom feels about it now. I think a good chunk of America is going to be looking into those kind of things. Interesting that a GOP action could benefit lawyers like that. But that is assuming you need a lawyer to do this kind of paperwork. I personally have no idea. =)
Glad she was right though and it was completely unnecessary. =)

6. Yes, I hope so to. I posted a similar comment on DU a few days ago |

about how the media--if menitioned at all--has just said it was a heart attach. Well, why would a 25 yr old have a sudden heart attach. If there have been discussions of it --I have missed it.

8. Mainstream media simply refuses to state that it was caused by bulimia. |
|
Nobody wants to acknowledge the simple truth: that Terri Schiavo brought her condition upon herself by abusing her body.

11. And how much of that is the way she was raised? Parents that can't let go |
|
after 20 years? Makes you wonder what her home life was like.

9. Seriously I don't see how one can discuss Schiavo without mentioning the |
|
cause. And it is clear that the pro-life activists don't know how it happened or people like Patricia Heaton wouldn't make the stupid comments she did. Someone should start a petition to demand Patricia Heaton donate to some eating disorder charity and apologies for the comments.
Not necessary but entertaining. =)

Force feeding a serious anorexic who starved herself into a heart attack. Someone with a lot of emotional problems, slow suicide...
Nah... that bastard strangled our Terri, that's what happened! She wants to live! Why, she said so just the other day.

who's out to murder someone. Instead of admitting the truth, that Michael is carrying out his wife's wishes. It's a calculated intentional false allegation meant to discredit and vilify the one person who stands in their way and the end always justifies the means for these people.
One thing you have to remember is, the false accusations about Michael causing Terri's initial injuries did not start until just after the religious rightwing anti-abortionists lawyers and PR people got involved.
You hear them often mention the money Michael and Terri received and accusing him of having a financial motive for wanting Terri dead, but they never ever mention the reason Michael and Terri got the money....because that wouldn't serve their purpose.
Michael and Terri received the jury award because doctors failed to diagnose Terri's bulimia. If they pointed out WHERE the money came from, that would cause people to believe Michael didnt attack Terri and they dont want people thinking that way.....It'a all very Christian isnt it?

13. I've heard them turn her bulimia back around on him |

because his supposed fooling around drove her to her eating disorder.

14. The only problem with that false accusation is, |
|
Terri's bulimia started when she was a teenager, her family admitted that years ago.
