* and Sim City...He can't just toggle off "disasters" |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-23-05 03:39 PM by triguy46
If you are familiar with Sim City, with some periodicty your city will succumb to natural disasters, including alien invasions. How you respond as Mayor determines the degree of destruction and economic impact.
I suggest that anyone who feels they are "leader of the free world" material be required to submit proof in Sim City 3K they can 1) Grow a city, 2) keep the citizens from revolting, and 3) deal with disasters.
The hard part for shrub would be not getting to use the "cheats" that are all over the internet, in his world, unlimited access to cash without debt, 'magic money' as he is doing now. If he can't do this on a game that 10 year olds can master, chances are he shouldn't be leader.

I thought SC3K was overly complicated and the most challenging of the Sim City franchise. SC4K is a lot more managable. I think the problem with 3K was that they added so many new expensive options without the more intricate system of managing funds that you get in SC4K.
So, I think we could make it Sim City 4000.

4. Lol..."weaknesspays" - my #1 cheat code!! |
|
If only we could say "Weaknesspays" and automatically receive $1000 everytime we say it in real life: no more poverty, beautiful neighborhoods, the best public transportation systems ever made, low taxes, loads of educational and medical facilities for all. Ohhhh yes, if only.
I'm all for this SimCity proposition. Anyone who can sucessfully grow and maintain a happy, healthy, well-educated city without resorting to cheats or dodgy connections would get my vote in a second.
On a side note - ODDLY ENOUGH, I was just about to start playing SimCity 4 Rush Hour after a brief visit to DU.
