One of our cats developed a thyroid problem and needs pills twice a day now. After a week of pills, she started hiding from me whenever she thought she was going to get a pill. So I started giving her a bit of lunch meat after every pill. This morning she was in the kitchen asking for her medicine.
Medicine for the cat: $21.45
Thin-sliced deli ham: $3.99
Knowing the cat can be bribed: Priceless

4. Cats are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
|
I have five: Alluring Ariel; her two jet-black kids, bodacious Bucephelus and charming Caledonia; and the sibs audacious Antioch (the unfailingly cute boy) and the ever-lovely Phoenecia. The joys of my life. By the way, Antioch ALWAYS took his pills with no complaint: I just told him it was good for him and he said "OK, Pops"

5. Ace gets insulin morning and evening. |
|
He gets fed after each injection. If I'm sleeping a little late, he comes and gets me at 6 a.m. "HEY! COME ON! GET UP! Let's go get the shot so I can have breakfast."

6. My dog can be bribed too. |
|
She also has a thyroid problem and gets her pill wrapped in a piece of cheese. I drop a scoop of food in her bowl in the morning and she won't start eating till she gets her cheese.

8. All cats can be bribed |

the negotiations are for what and how much. Dogs can't be bribed, they do what you tell them to do.

the only way I'd have a pit bull near me is as dinner, served with baked potato and salad. That's for you dog fans :P

12. When I got my 2 cats, I was renting a room in this house, |
|
and the cats were confined to that room. I am a creature of habit, and each night, before bed I would get undressed, feed the cats, and then go to bed. One day, I came home, and I was going out that night, I was changing, and as my pants dropped, both cats, leaped from the bed, and straight to their food dishes! They began to associate me dropping my pants to them getting food! Pavlov proven!
