I hate to keep making this point. Check Free Republic. They are the among the vilest spewers of hatred on the planet. They ascribe and elicit virtually none of the Christian beahvior recommended by their own God. By and large, the Muslims that they criticise widely live in societies that are virtually free of violence, crime. Only a very small percentage of Muslims has ever fired a gun, most the vast majority have never owned one. America's bizzarre Christian gun culture is diametrically opposed to every injunction made by the founder of their faith. Though the Old Testement and the Apostle Paul are critical of homosexuality in a few very small paragrtaphs of the bible, and abortion in fact not directly mentioned at all, they have taken two of the most obscure positions in the bible, and elevated them to be the heart and soul of their valuse system. I would defy any so called Christian to find ANYPLACE that Christ mentioend either abortion or homosexuality. Directly. They will not come up with one reference. In American' perverted version of Christianity, the vast majority of the bible is ignores, or mind bending efforts to prove that Christ did not mean that Chiristians should help the poor, or heal the sick, or cloth the naked (they shouold be arrested for public indecency). In a sane world, the American Churches would be condemend as being apostate. Europe is condemned for being too secular, but European Christian Parties are far more active at applying Christian social principals to governnment. No one dies of poverty related conditions in Europe. In period when the Republicans took over congress while CLinton was in office, the number of children under the age of ten who die of conditions caused by poverty and having to wait until conditions are critical before they get medical attention doubled. Since George Bush took office, that number itself has doubled. When Bill Clinton took office, 27 children died per day in the U.S of poverty related conditions. After the contract with America, his increased to 61 per day. Since the election of George W. Bush, this has increased to 124 children a day. Multiply by 365 and each year since George Bush has come to office he has killed more children through his political agenda, than Osama Bin Laden did on September 11th. The argument that George Bush did not directly do this doesnot hold water. Osama Bin Laden did not directly perform the acts of 9/11 himmself either.
The worse part is that these policies are being focused on by most of the churches in most of the communites of the United States. It is somwho more inmportatn for them to prevent a very tiny percventage of the population, the gay population, from defiling the sanctity of marriage. Yet they ignore the plight of thousands of children who starve or die in the U.S. because of the policies they have endorsed.
I believe Christ in his wisdom defined this as "straining at a gnat but swallowing a camel".
Exposing these valueless values that America has voted for George Bush over must be exposed ruthlessly. Over the next two years, we must uncover every bit of immorality as defined by those who voted for George Bush , that these people define as a value. Gayw will not approve, but there are just as likely to be a few Republican gays in Congress who have kept it hidden for years and are living dual lives. Lets expose their hypocrisy. More than a few Congressmen who thump the bible on a daily basis have more than likely met a cute young congressional aide in their hotel rooms on fact findin missions. Lets out them. every one. O'Reilly was not immune. Congressman Ryan was not immune. Rush was not immune. These media figures are less damageable, but Congressmen and Senators are. They were all too willing to try to smear with the Alex Pollier Story, even when it was discredited. Lets contribute every cent we can to finding every violation of their own precious value system that we can.
