Am I the only one that gets depressed by LBN? |
|
Seriously I go to that forum and can only spend about 5 minutes in there before I get too depressed by what the fuck is going on in the world.
Then I come to the Lounge for clever banter and witty repartees.

What is this "clever banter and witty repartees" of which you speak? I must be missing all the good threads. ;)
Anyway, yeah, LBN is pretty depressing. I feel that way about most news these days, though. I dropped my subscription to Time last night, and I haven't really watched cable news since the election.
Maybe a break from the news every now and then does one good.

I get thoroughly depressed too. two nights ago I spent a long time in the discussions and cried until like three in the morning.

7. I expect LBN to be a house of horrors |

for the next four years, or longer.
I just try to stay as emotionally detached as possible.

GD is a pit of vipers these days. I can only take it for a couple of minutes before I run back here with my tail between my legs. They're eating their young over there and there's no way of stopping them!
(God, I am such a word geek - I got a kick out of the fact that I used all three variations of "there", "they're" and "their" in that sentence. Pathetic!)
