What evidence do you have to support it?
On edit: If a woodchuck could chuck wood - a current impossibility - it would have a different lifestyle and likely other features different according to that lfestyle. and since it would be different from a woodchuck, it wouldn't be a woodchuck. Therefore, the correct answer is "none."

Regardless of your answer, i was going to try to prove you wrong.
That logic I just used was fuzzy; it contained premises that weren't neccesarily true, therefore invalidating the conclusion.

13. OK, you wanted the question, here goes: |
|
Why are we, the human species, here on Earth? Why were we born? What is our purpose?
Bonus question: why is there air?
Silly question: Horse With No Name...why the hell didn't the guy name the horse? He had all that time in the desert, nothing else to do.

I had been sort of hoping that you'd answer the first question for me and I'd suddenly transsubstantiate and be all transcendant and stuff, but I'm satisfied with breathing and glue, but I make a habit of not mixing the two. :)

but let's see if I can mix chemistry, biology, physics, and philosophy all into one...
We were born because the biological needs for our birth were met. We are here on earth because of a chemical reaction producing the first carbon single-celled life form, which eventually evolved into us.
We lack a purpose. We simply exist.
There is air because our planet attracts various gasses into our atmosphere. With humans and plants breathing and all that, the air reached the current state it is to day.
He is human, and therefore does silly things because no one is perfect.

Your answer to #1 is a real bummer for me. I'll concede that maybe I'm wrong and just fooling myself and that all is for naught, if you'll allow you to continue fooling myself on that score.

|
I say that we weren't made to do anything and that we have no purpose, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't do anything. We should fight for humanity with a passion and follow our own moral code.
Despite all the above, though, we exist because we exist. That doesn't mean, however, that we shouldn't make anything of it.
