1. My niece asked for Nicorette gum when she was 7 years old |
|
She just thought it was some new type of gum she should be interested in. Not sure how to handle the lubricant question - other than to say "I don't think you need that, honey." :)

Mine had to display cynicism independently before I let them watch the "cool stuff."
My Dad was kinda the same with me.
I'd sneak down the stairs on Saturday night and we'd watch SNL together.
I still remember the sound he made when trying to surpress loud laughter as to not wake up Fundie Mom...sleeping in the next room. (We'd of both been busted.)
I miss him lots.

It's hard for my little guy to understand my "rules for buying cereal". I'm pretty insistent upon buying only the brand that's on sale, and preferably if I have a coupon to reduce the price more.

I know someone who works at Wegmans, which is a supermarket near here. She was working at the registers, a 10 year old boy runs up, puts a tube of KY Warming Jelly on the conveyer belt thing, pays with exact change, puts it in his pocket, and runs off.

My oldest son used to goad his younger brothers into doing stuff.. Once at a "dennys-like" restaurant he told my youngest what to order when it was his turn.. he told the waitress to bring him hemmorhoid cream.. She laughed so hard as we did too, but the oldest got a talking to.. He was 8 and the little brother 3..
