Hooray!!....Dumbya is on his way to New Orleans!!! |
|
The cavalry (little Georgie) to the rescue! He has decided what's happening in New Orleans is "unacceptable"! and he's on his way there. Here's what will make everything all better.....Dumbya needs to ride his bicycle (on a dry road if he can find one), carrying the flag and yelling "God bless America!"....That should do it, don't you think? :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

2. Gotta boost those crashing poll numbers, y'know? |

Nothing like a massive disaster to create some photo ops.
I can remember when he came to Florida after one of the hurricanes. The airport was close enough that we could see his plane descend for a landing. The aura of pure evil (with a hint of stupidity) reached even to my home.
As I recall, he just handed out ice and then returned to the aerial paradise that was Airforce 1.

3. Wow - just like 9-11 when he waited four days before showing up in NYC |
|
I hope he grabs himself some emergency workers, a fireman, a policeman, and a national guard guy to give a vapid empty speech photo-op on a pile of rubble while holding the flag.

He'll fly over at 30,000 feet just as he did on his way from the pig farm to DC.

His actions, attitudes, and body language say so much more.

While it's considered any president's duty to visit a scene such as this, I think it's very ill-advised. When a president is in the area, all air traffic halts. That's the last thing we need.
Relief supplies could be delayed another day due to this visit.
I'd be saying this even if he was a good president. No one should go there who 1. isn't going to roll up his sleeves and do the hard work, and 2. will disrupt the relief efforts by his mere presence.
I work with a man whose son was just air lifted out of New Orleans. He said he'd have been fuming if his son spent an extra day there because of a presidential visit.
