Today was a $3000 day. Bummer. |
|
My upstairs air conditioning compressor went out late yesterday (the hottest day of the year in Dallas at 102-F). It must be replaced, they say. $1500. My shower pan leaked this morning. The tile has to be ripped out and the pan replaced, they say. Another $1500. And my new dog pooped on an oriental rug; not once, but twice! Thank goodness for "Nature's Miracle."

You're moving anyway, right? :D
102 without a/c? I'd check into a hotel...

3. My downstairs A/C works fine. |

We couldn't sell the house in Dallas. Had it on the market for a year. We put "Plan B" into effect this past weekend. We have a contract on a log cabin in the NC mountains. I'll be spending a lot of time there. We close on 9/4.

Get thee to a hotel, quickly! (or else, sleep downstairs... I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to spend any more bucks now!)
