I have decided to stay at home today |
|
it is way too cold out, and I just dont feel like walking around campus with a -30 windchill blowing right now...
I will stay home and study/review and go in tomorrow morning and show that final exam who's boss.
Anyway, if I dont know the material by now, it is WAY too late to cram it in my head...

1. Isn't it kind of late in the day to make that decision? iI mean, you've already made it |
|
hours and hours ago. It's almost night already, for poop's sake.

4. No, I'm saying that now - since the day is practically ended - is not the time |
|
to announce that you have decided to stay home today.
You've already stayed home.
You could say "I decided TO stay home today".
That's the point I'm making, is that the timing of your decision and the implied time of your statement are in arrears with one another.

I live on a 24 hour clock, one time is as good as any other...
societal norms about beginnings and ends are almost of no use to me personally except to figure out when the rest of you will be awake and about.

3. It's cold here in Denver too |

Record breaking lows for this time of year. I shoveled the walks, went to the store, went to the liqour store, all on foot. Tomorrow I have a full day of errands to run. I have my gear though. I stay nice and warm with these temps.I stand at the bus stops for up to a half hour.

7. There is a small chance |
|
that my job might transfer me to Atlanta. I have been really bummed out about this possibility, but as of today, with the -30 wind chill, I am starting to feel a little better about it...
Walking around anywhere when there is a -30 wind chill is a bad idea. Hope your studying goes well and you kick ass on your finals.

Way too hot and humid down there..., plus, we would not be able to meet for coffee with you anymore...
My studying is going well, like I said, if I did not already know the material, it would be too late.
I know it, I am just reviewing.
and the cold is just an incentive to stay inside.
