Watched "Man On Wire" last night! Spectacular! |
|
And we got to see the WTC as it was being built.
The pictures of Petit as he walked back and forth between the towers were magnificent.
It was an amazing feat and glorious gesture!

queued it up a couple times...but I must have a weak constitution or something. If the Mr. would watch it with me, it might take.
It is a Netflix instant, though. Tikki

2. what an amazing documentary.... |
|
It was just amazing that he accomplished it -- it seems impossible that a man could perform such a feat. all the planning that his "crew" put into it was so precise..... it was incredible that he was up there for AN HOUR!!! Philippe Petit has guts to say the least -- no fear..... maybe a little crazy? Don't you think that documentary would have a totally different vibe if the Towers were still there? But to know what happens to the World Trade Centers gives the movie a totally different feel -- I found it a bit eerie. But it's a great yet now somewhat sad documentary. And a very unique, and never to be repeated, bit of history.
