If you split the Democratic Party, don't expect 56,000,000 other people who voted for Kerry to follow you to it. Just not possible.

Half, or a quarter, or even a tenth of that washing over to another party would be amazingly useful as momentum for a third party though.

If we do that, the Republicans win forever. And ever. And ever. We need to fix the black box voting machines. They've screwed with all of them. I doubt it's us too much. They make up this fake moral vlaues crap - I'm not so sure that's true.

We need to eliminate several things in order to restore full discourse about the direction of our democracy in an official sense. First, we need to establish or purify the media. Secondly, we need to fix the voting systems in this country. You may consider that first; I won't disagree. Finally, I think we would need some form of instant runoff voting, or ranked voting, to allow third parties to grow in power.
