1. The reverse psychology tactic of the right wing is getting really old. |
|
It was lame before. More so now.

4. Actually, I think they DO hope and pray to run against Clinton |
|
Look at Clinton's unfavorable numbers. Her supporters may be very dedicated, but those that aren't supporters hate her.
This works well for Republicans in a country where at least a third of the vote is controlled by independents...especially if they run McCain who is palatable to most indys.

If it comes down to Hillary vs McLame, the latter will definitely win. The corporate media loves the guy.

3. Clinton is more of a hardcore democrat, Obama has republican motives |
|
why? Because she is a hardcore democrat, with core democratic principles. Obama has Republican tendancies. when he does speak specifically, I hear conession to republicans in many areas of his voice. Change--but change what, how, when. We must, and this is coming from a black woman, we must elect Clinton the nominee for our party and reclaim the white house.

and welcome to DU. However, I disagree. It has everything to do with the fact that Republican operatives want Senator Clinton because there are vast numbers of Republicans that will go to the polls just to vote against her. She rallies their base. I think it's a horrible reason, but it would be short-sighted to think it isn't there.

12. I agree. I think we should fight this through and win. |
|
We need to shove Hillary in their faces to show that their politics of hatred doesn't work. That's how we'll have real change in the end, when the republicans realize that have to be civil and work with us to gain our respect.
Welcome to DU!

I fear running her against McCain. She does poll pretty negatively
I know that won't sway anyone on DU but it does concern me.

9. If so, then I predict an overreach by the repubs that benefits Hillary... |
|
... she does very well when under pressure. They'll try some tacky swift boat thing but she'll recover.
