Anyone here see McCains, after primary victory speech, last night where he was taking shots at BO? |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 03:26 PM by IsItJustMe
McCain didn't mention Obama by name, but you could tell that he was directing his remarks at Obama. McCain talked about people speaking in platitudes and empty rhetoric.
I wonder if McCain reads DU? I heard all this stuff before, not from the msm mind you, very seldom watch it, but right here on this left leaning message board.
On edit: Another observation, I think McCain now thinks that Obama is going to be the Democratic nominee.

2. Obama is an easy target |
|
Stop blaming DU, if you want Obama as the candidate then be prepared to fight these battles for him because he is the easiest of targets.

4. McCain's victory speech looked like a funeral |
|
He's so flat when he speaks (or reads - looks like he was reading). I cannot wait to see him debate Obama. It will be "No, you can't" vs. "Yes, we can".

7. Agreed. A young energetic guy vs. an old flat guy. I also think HRC will do very well against |

McCain. We will cross that bridge when we come to it.

8. it was an extremely boring speech!! |
|
There were several sentences in his speech where he would say something like.....we're not going to ____ but ____
Then he would repeat the same phrase but change the blanks to some other subject but it would still be basically the same phrase of 'we're not going to .... but .....
And I was thinking.......man! He needs a better speech writer!! It was just so predictable!!

I'm calling BS on this one. Obama has been fleshing out his stances just as well as Hillary, and he has the enthusiasm and support to have coattails downticket.

I was too discombobulated from going from Warp 10 to dead stop because of the abrupt switch from the Obama rally to McCain's that I have only recently regained my sense of hearing.
Let's see, what kind of America do I want to live in? One that's a bit loud, rowdy, but fired up & inspired, or one where we all stand around golf clapping?

Then he, old coot John Warner and the other crotchety Repubicans on stage got all goofy as if they has just pulled off something really cool. It was like a really bad skit from SNL.

|
Obama is the one he has a good chance against because of security and Obama not having experience.
