We have some AWESOME candidates - either Hillary or Obama.
We can't lose. That is, unless we stay home and McCain becomes President.
Then we ALL lose.

I am so tired of hearing DUers bickering about "my candidate" and "your candidate" - do they not realize that Obama and Clinton are BOTH OUR CANDIDATES? The goal is to BEAT THE REPUKES, NOT EACH OTHER.

During the campaign I've watched at times while each of them has distorted the truth to their own advantage, and I wince when my candidate does it and get pissed when the other one does it, but I know that Presidential politics is very much a contact sport. I made my choice between them but that doesn't mean that I don't like both of them.

It was a hard choice between the two but I ended up voting for Obama in our primary. Hillary has a slight edge in domestic policy but I like Obama's foreign policy better. However, I'll gladly support and vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination.
IMHO, a lot of the behind the scenes stuff in this campaign is a power struggle between two groups in our party. It's not as much about ideology as is it is about whose in charge. It's come down to the Clintons and their allies versus a coalition of various groups from the rest of the party.

The only "bad" thing about this race is that we have TWO amazing people to choose from. Of course I have my preference, and feel very strongly about his candidacy. But without question I will fall in line behind our nominee and work hard to make sure we take back the WH and restore some sanity back into our government.

that I did like her (voted for her twice for senate), I just can't stand some of her supporters saying "I will not vote for Obama if hes the nominee". So it makes me want to say the same thing back to them. But I will probably vote for her in the GE.

After the last debate supporters from both sides were marveling out how good both candidates were. They respected each other. There even was talk at the end of the debate about having them both on a ticket. I'm a Hillary fan but if she bows out I'll be 100% Obama from that instant on.

49. sorry, but I don't like either . . . |
|
oh, I'll probably vote for the Democratic nominee, if only because s/he will nominate marginally better candidates to the Supreme Court than the Republicans . . .
but couldn't we have done better than two corporate centrists as our final candidates? . . . neither is a sure winner over McCain, simply because the Republicans will once again be tabulating the electronic votes . . . and the election will be close enough that they can pull it off . . . but someone like Al Gore could have won with such a landslide that rigging the election would be extremely difficult, if not impossible . . .
the Democrats have again dropped the ball . . . just like they dropped the ball on the war, on healthcare, on election reform, on tax cuts for millionaires, and on virtually every other substantive issue facing our nation today . . . the notion that electing either Clinton or Obama will result in substantive change from the way things are now is laughable, and the ONLY reason I will likely vote for one of them is the Supreme Court . . .

56. I like them both. I prefer Barack, and lately I've been shaking my head at Hillary. I don't think |
|
its her fault. I think she is receiving terrible advice and the people in her campaign didn't plan on having to work so hard. They thought she was a shoe-in and they were caught with their pants down. It makes me sad to see her slipping up so badly. For a few years I've thought of her as our next president. If she doesn't pull out of this slump, I hope there is room for her in Barack's presidency, but it seems things have turned irreversibly sour. That's a waste of a tremendous resource, in my opinion.
