weird of kerry to tour the colleges, when most are anti iraqi war. |
|
If i was kerry I would have Dean tour the colleges for kerry. Most college students are more in line with Dean.

And even if they are mostly anti-war, sometimes you have to go into the den of the lion. Clinton did that when he first ran. Dean is out of the race. Kerry wants them to vote (for him). You have to go talk to them.

5. one doesn' t have to be presidential canidate to speak at colleges |
|
dean is already speaking at colleges. kerry spoke at colleges even when he wasn't running for president. you don't have to attend any speeches given by kerry if you don't want to listen to him.

From now on, it's Dean who does the college tour. After all, Presidential elections are all about YOU, YOU, YOU!!!!

I wonder if it maybe better for Kerry just to lay low at times. The whole State of the Union Q&A was a joke. The whole Iraq situation is crumbling. There are no jobs. There are many organizations working agains Bush from Log Cabin Republicans, Moveon, and AFL-CIO. The "uniter" has managed to divide this whole nation. Never saw an election were soo many different groups of people from different backgrounds are soooo pissed. Chimp is gonna need every penny of that quarter billion cuz they sure are after his azz..... ;)

ProudToBeLiberal says "Most college students are more in line with Dean" and everyone knows that there's no greater authority than "someone on the Internet"!!!!

Most college students are not in line with living in a fascist theocratic state, so that leaves Kerry.
I'm glad he's doing this personally.

12. it would be better to do personally |
|
Edited on Fri Apr-16-04 02:20 PM by JohnKleeb
If he didnt do it personally, then his critics would be like, he is out of touch with the youth and etc. damned if ya do, damned if ya dont I guess. The war isnt the only issue facing students, and another is the rising cost of tution which Kerry has decried. I am not in college yet but I do think these students will appreciate Kerry, after all his children and step children do a great job campaigning and are heavily involved in teh campaign, I dont see Jenna and Barbara Bush campaigning for their dad.

These funny threads actually belong in the Lounge. Yeah, it was kind of amusing, but let's be honest. These attempts of humour shouldn't be posted in the Campaign 2004 forum.
Personally, I believe that Mickey Mouse should tour the colleges. In my opinion, and as it is my opinion I also know that everybody else shares my beliefs, all college students are in line with Mickey Mouse. Donald Duck isn't that bad, but come on, even Goofy is better with college students.

Most college students are more in line with him than either Kerry or Dean. Silly.
