Just reading the various threads up and down the line about Blago, Burris, Bobby Rush (Barack, hmmm B's in all those names.. )

If you can survive Chicago politics, I think you must be able to survive just about anything.

I also am beginning to think anyone who wants to be President, Democrat, Rethuglican, Indy, needs to put a year in the wheelhouse of Illinois politics.

How Obama came out of that muck without being covered in stains is amazing. In 2008 a member of congress has no qualms about using the word lynch in describing any opposition to a black man. The governor has a for sale sign on a Senate seat, and 2 or the last 3 governors are in jail. Wow.

Good thing Illinois politicians kept a low profile during the campaign.
