So I don't have much time... |
|
I'm posting this from a rental car parked in a turnaround next to an new development. Our internet has been off for several days, and my husband was in a wreck (again!!) with our family car (AGAIN) Wed. morning. Everyone is ok,but I am beyond frustrated and depressed. I swear I don't know what is going on with us.
Please keep us in your thoughts. We need all the help we can get right now. Thank god for insurance, but I am sure my payments are going to go through the roof...
Help help help with understanding what is going on with us. I don't know why all this is happening.
I dunno when I'll be back; hopefully soon.
Love you all, hope your Thanksgiving was great.
Hugs and Kisses..

1. I don't know how to say this but maybe you need to find out |
|
why your husband is getting into accidents. It could be that he's not competent to drive anymore or maybe needs some driver training. My husband gave me his keys when he thought he wasn't competent to drive anymore and he only got into one fender bender the whole time we were married. I'm sorry that you have to go through this during the holiday season. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Try to have some joy this season by looking forward to better times.

7. It's possible, but he's |
|
31!!!!
I don't know what his problem is. He swears someone ran him off the road; a guy in a red truck who was acting very drunk.
I seriously think my husband may be an undiagnosed psychic, and that he has visions of things that have happened in places they have happened in. Unfortuanely, I don't think he can tell the diff between vision and real when he is really tired.
We are having continuing talks on this. I will elaborate more when my internet comes back on..I'm on low battery atm. Thanks so much for your kind thoughts.

10. age doesn't matter... |

if he can't differentiate between visions and reality when tired, then he shouldn't be driving when tired.
I'm so sorry for what you are going through. I got into a couple accidents when I was tired/stressed/distracted back in my 30s. There was a point when I was very, very sick and would have to lie down for half an hour to an hour at the end of a day of work before I was strong enough with good enough vision to drive home.
You do what you have to do. It could mean him recognizing when he's too tired to drive and resting first. Or if there is a patter of when he's too tired, recognizing the pattern and planning to drive him wherever, whenever.

3. Just saw your post in the Lounge about this. Yikers. |
|
I feel so bad for you, having to endure this crap during the holiday (and early winter). That's about all I've got for now. You hang in there.

4. Oh LD, so sorry to hear this |

Something is up with you and yours, that's for sure--I mean in a spiritual sense. I'm not sure what, but it seems that you might be off-balance for some reason, and that's causing what appears to be misfortune in your life. Do you think you and/or your husband maybe ought to try a different life path than what you're traveling on now?

funny you should say that. He was returning from working the first gentleman's club gig he has had in several weeks when the wreck happened(all the other jobs he's had were nightclub spinning only) and I made the comment to him that for some reason, he is being kept out of working the strip clubs lately - he hasn't had a steady job at one since he lost the big one back at the end of Aug. I think the Universe is saving him for something..but this was a crappy way of telling us this; sorry. As for me, I have not been able to pursue my choice of life path because of several setbacks, a few involving him.I have to admit to becoming resentful. We are going to be having some discussion of this in the coming days. Something has to change.
I have been actively trying to live in the now, and to not worry where things will come from. This has worked wonderfully well until now. I cannot fathom why this is happening this way. I'm 35, and too old to be begging for money and help from people. I am ashamed and embarrassed and tired. I love what I chose to do for a living, and I do not feel that it is a bad choice. I want to be able to do it to the best of my ability; in the best shape I can possibly be.I have lost 3 dress sizes in the last three months, and can see returning to work in Jan. - if I can get the surgery I need to go back to work (not medical necessity, cosmetic).
I just don't know. I am lost. I cannot see where I have manifested this into my life. I have done some meditation and introspection on this, and am not close to an answer at the moment. I hope maybe I am better able to listen to the Universe from now on - I know the fault must lie with me.
Thanks for the kind thoughts.

Yes, it's time for a discussion, absolutely. And yes, it was a completely crappy way for the Universe to get your attention, but it does happen. From my own experience, I do know that the Universe tends to operate this way: "Ahem. Sorry to bother you, but you might want to..." And if we ignore the gentle throat-clearing, then it's "Er-HERM. You know what We said before? We really meant it." And if we STILL don't heed their advice, "Awright. That's it. Stand back! We're about to unleash something to really get your attention!" And then, you know, blam. Sucks, but there it is.
So...why do you think you have manifested this situation? Why do you think it's your fault? You're shouldering an awful lot by thinking that. Try meditating a different way a little bit--don't ask the Universe why you manifested this etc. etc. Instead, ask the Universe where the blocks are in your life and how to remove them--no blame, no fault, no retrospective, just solutions. I'll bet the Universe will have a plethora of suggestions! :D
Hang in there, sweetie.

12. too true. in the games of power, silence does equal consent... |
|
sometimes the universe just has to grab our attention. and just as the universe's consent is taken for granted we have to remember our consent can be also. this can also be understood as: "a swift kick to the ass tends to wake people up enough to speak up in their life."

6. I so sympathize with your frustration |
|
I will do my best to send you light. Hope things improve for you very soon. Although I do think the advice about determining whether your husband is still competent to drive is very valid. We had to take the car keys away from my mother-in-law, and also from my father at a certain point in their lives. Better that than that they or someone else should get hurt.
Good luck!

I think we are just tested to see if we will give in to the despair. Blaming yourself is part of that despair. You should just keep in mind that you are a precious child of Creator and loved beyond measure. No matter what happens.
