Teddy Kennedy, John Cornyn, Jeff Sessions, Orrin Hatch, and Tom Coburn. Edit Jon Kyl was also there.

"Solving the Small Business Health Care Crisis: Alternatives for Lowering Costs and Covering the Uninsured" April 20, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in 428A Russell Senate Office Building*
The public is always ivited to these things. Kerry should be there as he is ranking member for this committee and Health Care is a big concern of his.

13. Get there as early as possible |
|
After the Pink Ladies protest last week, security will be tight. Bring nothing, give them no trouble and you just might get in.
My husband will be in DC on Wednesday for a meeting of local guys with my Rep (Marty Meehan). I so want him to spend some time at the Small Business committee meeting. But he lacks my passion for pure wonk and will probably be doing worthless things, like discussing how to get federal funding for schools and stuff. (Okay, he is wonky in a different, more focused way.)
