I have a girlfriend who went to Iran a week ago with her husband. I begged her not to go.....> |
|
I printed out several articles for her. Her husband is Iranian and she has been there several times. I almost talked her out of it but they decided to go anyway. She returns on the 20th. Think she will be OK??? It looks like it will be more towards the end of Feb. or in March.

1. I think she will be fine |

From what I heard, Iranians are very friendly, even to American tourists. They are able to separate us from our administration. It's supposed to be a fascinating country.
Of course, once we attack them, all bets are off.

Just as many Iranians recognise most Americans are not like (what they see as our nutcase) leader, so we should separate them from theirs.

10. To all of those with friends and relatives in Iran .. |
|
here's praying that all will remain safe (or positive thoughts, if you prefer).
I worry about their safety also.
It does not seem as if reason is prevailing in Washington D.C. right now, despite last November's election results.

OK I'm only half - but I am drunk and that counts more than staying at a Holiday Inn the night before.
