Is it my imagination, or are DUers overwhelmingly for Edwards? |
|
Don't be afraid to tell me I'm crazy if I am. It just seems to me that a LOT of people in here (and hey, why not say it, out there too) are for Edwards. The media, polls, corporations and the mega-rich can't understand why so many people have switched to Edwards, and they're trying to pretend he doesn't exist. However, he does exist at the polls, doesn't he?!?! Love the man!

on OTHER boards were usually all the same ..... vocal, great at ignoring facts great at attacking personally and having very little to no tolerance of criticism and no real talent for debate.

yes, it does seem that DU is presently pretty pro-Edwards.

|
It was 50% for Clark in 2004.
Kind of a kiss of death actually.

We seem to almost inevitably try to elevate the lower polling candidate through sheer willpower. If only DU had that much influence...

Dennis is all war and impeachment.
Edwards is on ALL the issues (especially the one concerning me --poverty!!), and laying it out for people about the corporations running our government.

But it seems to be a widespread online phenomena. He wins all the polls over at DKOS as well.

Obama & Hillary have sworn their allegiance too and who they a$$ ki$$ at every turn.
The people of this country have been pushed to too far: they've been ripped off, lied to and marginalized, etc., etc., etc.
The people want someone like Edwards who will fight for them and who will kick some corporate a$$!
Fuck politicians like Hillary & Obama who play nice and a$$ kiss the lobbyists and the corporate bastards who are systematically destroying lives, this country and the planet. :grr:

45. If you look at the straw votes here, on DailyKos and on Thom Hartmann's show |
|
John Edwards has been favored in all of those polls since the beginning. Thom has been doing his straw poll every week for months and Edwards has always won by large margins.
It's also a reason that Edwards supporters are so frustrated by the MSM's insistence on focusing exclusively on Obama/Clinton.
