What result in NH would strengthen / back the idea that Edwards has momentum? |
|
Edited on Tue Jan-08-08 07:38 PM by BelgianMadCow
Out of "the three", he would have my support. I understand however, the polling so far in NH gives him no chance at all. On edit: chance at winning or at beating Obama or Clinton that is.
So what result do you think Edwards supporters could be happy about, and would prove once more that the media blackout is both unjustified and ineffective?

1. Anything over 25% would be pretty good showing in my eyes. |

2. we'll have to see how far a NH win will propel one of the others |
|
I saw where Obama gets a good deal of his support in NH from independents and republicans. They can't vote in all of the other contests, however. It will be interesting to see what rank and file Dems do. Also, there may still be some buyer remorse which didn't have any time to blossom between these two contests.

3. I would like to see him beat Hillary again. This race is FAR from over yet. |
|
but as long as Edwards takes second (by any margin over Hillary) then he has a fighting chance.

7. Must best Clinton or lose to Obama by less than double digits |
|
Neither of those things seems likely to happen.
He knows it's over, but he will not drop out ... because ... I have no idea why, actually.

9. Agreed - a couple points above the polling |
|
is good, and surely realistic.
