Why would anyone care? The man is a total psychopath. I don't care what he does with his spare time.

7. I don't care what HE DOES, but I DO CARE that the few idiots |
|
that still support him hear about each and every LIE he tells and how bad he really is compared to what he wants people to believe! Last I heard his approval rating was in the high 20's. That ONLY happened because people like KO, Pregressive Radio, and us too have been pointing all these things out!

For those of us who hate him, we already know what he's like. For those who support him, their opinion is not changed by his ever-increasing slimy conduct. Maybe they admire that, who knows?

6. Bush Lied....& Lied & Lied...... |
|
In Aug 2003 he made the statement but:
The Associated Press reported on Oct. 13, 2003, that he'd spent a "cool, breezy Columbus Day" playing "a round of golf with three long-time buddies.
"Bush played at Andrews Air Force Base with Clay Johnson, Office of Management and Budget deputy director, Richard Hauser, Department of Housing and Urban Development general counsel and another friend, Mike Wood."

10. Probably because Bush had been caught lying so many times re: |

things of importance that most people probably can't gother getting upset over this piddly particular instance.

12. While there is some logic to that position... |
|
...we should remember this about big lies: they are easier to pull off because people cannot / will not believe that anyone would ever tell such a big lie. So the lie gets a pass, and those who point out the lie are branded as crazy.
It might be more effective for us to continually pick on the smaller lies, because it is easier to get people to acknowledge those lies -- especially ones like this where it is easy to show the lie, and there is no way for the Prez and his minions to throw sand in our eyes by saying "bad intelligence" or "bureaucratic infighting" or all of the other ways they obfuscate and hide the truth.
If we can show enough of the little lies, then we have eroded his credibility (I know, I know, as if he had any to begin with -- but there is that troubling 29% who still seem to like the nincompoop) more effectively than by ranting about Iraq being a war based on lies -- even knowing that that is by far the more important issue.
We really do need to learn to use psychological truth, not just logical truth.

On another board I visit, I posted the Think Progress report on Bush still playing golf, and some very conservative grandmother, former republican, posted a link to last night's Special Comments video on youtube. Really cool of her to do that.
