Somebody stole Baby Jesus...
http://www.somerset-kentucky.com/local/local_story_358201646.html

<snip>
Last week, Steve and Susan Mucci received a phone call from a neighbor asking if their baby Jesus decoration that adorned their front yard had been stolen.

When they looked out into their front yard on Enchanted Drive, one of the pieces of the manager scene they had been using for almost 10 years was indeed gone.

“We were really surprised, shocked and just irritated someone would do something like that,” said Susan Mucci.

Mucci said their three daughters who are 6, 8 and 13 were thinking about putting a sign in their front that read, “We want baby Jesus back.”

12. Oh come on.
Was that necessary?

Somerset is a rather small town. A small town that many people living in a large metropolitan area could probably derive benefit from spending time in.

As for other news from that paper, just check it out:

6. Yep
There are more important things to print.

And yep - probably was drunken teenagers.

But it's still trespassing and theft. Glad they are able to see that an outward expression (mangers, trees, lights, etc. etc.) are not what it's about.

I type that having had flags/banners stolen off of the UU Church I converted too: In support of our GLBT membership. Either way - it's a really shitty thing to do.

They weren't harming anyone by having it in their front yard.

13. I worked at a place that had a nativity scene up for Christmas.
Although I never stole any part of it, I did occasionally rearrange the characters to match my immature sense of humor.
