Any "Countdown to bush's last hours in office" parties anywhere? |
|
That would be great fun - 5, 4, 3, 2, 1......WOW! Better than New Year's Eve if you ask me!
I would definitely stay up all night to celebrate the end of that a-hole's regime.

WORLD - in all time zones! Oh how sweet that would be.
Almost make up for 1/1000,000,000th of the misery he has caused us.

4. I wish we could all light candles to purify the air as he leaves. |
|
Whether someone is Christian, Wiccan, atheist or just plain ol' agnostic like me, I wish we could all light candles as a symbolic way to purify the air and breathe a long sigh of relief that we survived him...even if our country is in ruins.

5. We could stand out in the streets and link arms - "Hands across America" |
|
and throw shoes, hold candles, jump up and down, scream - just "CELEBRATE, c'mon!..."

6. We're having an Inauguration Day party |
|
It's pretty early in the Pacific time zone, so it's mimosas and breakfast for all. We were just discussing last night whom we're inviting.
We're not loaded at the moment, but I have been saving a moderately good bottle of champagne for this very occasion. Maybe those that are attending will bring champagne as well, and I'm really thinking that I may borrow Jamastiene's idea lower in the thread: Let's light a candle at 11:59 AM Eastern on January 20, 2009, to peace, sanity, and great leadership in the United States at last.

There ought to be one huge national party; historical in its size and rowdyness, a massive condemnation like no other president has been subjected to, ever. God knows we deserve it.....
