2. I know but we are moving closer to a hot civil war |
|
And I hate to say I have pointed to this pattern over the last four years.... the pattern now is close to the brink.

When so many people cannot accept when their side loses a democratic election.
During what I considered the public mass delusion that went on in the run up to the Iraq war giving me insight into how good Germans could have gone along with the Nazi's, this whole new resentment for losing the election gives me an insight into how dictators gain power or how a country becomes like Iran or Iraq under Saddam.
Really concerns me that it could affect our democracy. I mean after the Bush Vs Gore thing and even the Kerry thing the dems could have claimed the other side was illegitimate and started insinuating they were going to use violence, but they quickly capitulated because there's always another election. The republicans unfortunately were in power so long they forgot what it was like to lose.

this country is not that special after all...
And like any relatively young country it is about to go through something painful and learn that sometimes things that happened a LONG TIME AGO... (Civil War) are still working on there.

6. "we are moving closer to a hot civil war" and I agree with you. This |
|
is going to get uglier and uglier I believe with no good outcome.

7. It is, the army (all branches) is starting to fracture |
|
with the Oathkeepers and the tea bagers. That is not a pleasant thought and it is another sign of how close we actually are to the brink.
Now don't expect the blue and the gray... that is not the nature of modern civil wars... but internal terrorism...
You betcha!
