That the ultra-orthodox will allow themselves to be in mixed groups, as long as there are at least 10 ultra-orthodox in the unit. They would only have to serve one and half years as opposed to the 3 years that is standard for everyone else.

I think this starts out with some kind of expiremental stage before being fully implemented. This is something that they can opt for if they want to enter the labor market, as their exemption doesn't allow them to work at a regular job, except for a short duration, unless they fulfill some kind of military service.
