3. Union delegates donate $10,000 to strikers

Delegates at the Education Minnesota Representative Convention this past weekend donated $10,000 to the striking Crosby-Ironton teachers.

A total of 527 delegates attended the convention Friday and Saturday in St. Paul, according to a news release from Education Minnesota. The $10,000 donation also was from members of Education Minnesota Retired.

The delegates also authorized Education Minnesota to "use all appropriate fiscal and human resources" to support Education Minnesota Crosby-Ironton Local 1325 teachers' union in its efforts to achieve a reasonable settlement. <snip>
