The Maricopa County Attorney apparently does not understand the significance of his interpretation. The Citizen's arrest defense doctrine can lead to things which he, a Republican, may not find so politically attractive as waving handguns at undocumented immigrants.

"In the name of the people of the United States of America" -- one day we might just hear 500,000 people shout at the White House gates -- "we arrest you, George W. Bush"
