The neo-cons wish to use Taiwan and Japan to "roll back" Chinese power. Letting these sort of delusions govern foreign policy in an area where American power is faltering is extremely dangerous and could result in the deaths of millions.

I find sanctimonious moralizing about Taiwan a little absurd. We supported the KMT for decades. We do business in the billions with China every day. We gave them ICBM telemetry and miniture nuclear warhead technology (MIRVs). Principled stands on Asian politics merely disguise strategic maneuvering. I find these posts from pro-Taiwan/Formosa sources as biased as any I have ever seen on this board.
